Iphone 5 Sales are Strong

iPhone steams on. After initial reviews that often said "boring," the iPhone 5 has plowed ahead with sales, setting records in the first weekend and continuing strong. While the Apple maps had a lot of "bumps in the road" if we may, the general reviews of the hardware have been positive. The early reviews of "boring" have progressed to "reliable, faster, and better." They didn't have a new design or something that set the mobile market on it's ear. They made a great phone. Apparently that is enough. iPhone users are happy. The maps fiasco is a software issue and an obvious misstep by the company. The hardware in the iPhone 5 has performed great. People aren't happy to have to buy new chargers and other accessories, but they will get over it. Chalk it up to progress. Progress is expensive. Just ask politicians. November 2, the iPhone 5 will release in India and other international destinations. Sales are predicted to be very strong as they move to the most populated country on earth. Apple also announced the release of the new iPad mini. There is more info about this on an engaging blog: Buy an iPad mini. Like the iPhone 5, iPad "mini" sports the new "lightning" plug. So, the good news is.. people buying both the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini don't have to buy two power adapters. Progress.
